Strategic Planner

OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an energetic person with superior analytical abilities, great attention to detail and strong communication skills to join our growing team.  Strategic Planners are involved and integrated in the creation of marketing strategy and advertising. Their responsibility is to bring the consumer to the forefront of the process and to inspire the team to work with the consumer in mind.

Because targeted communication channels have presently multiplied (see Facebook, Google, and Adobe), the planner must provide “the edge” in terms of knowing how to exploit omni-channel opportunities and sell them into our clients. Deep experience in digital channels will be a tremendous asset for the candidate.

This role reports to the VP, CRM Strategy and Planning and involves frequent interaction with all levels of management, clients, and outside suppliers. The ideal candidate will display the perfect balance of analytic capabilities, confidence, and business acumen.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and effectively communicate the rational reasons and emotional insights that inform BIMM’s award winning campaign creative
  • Devise integrated marketing campaigns by working collaboratively with other teams across BIMM and strategic partners in order to support our clients’ businesses through a balanced focus on net acquisition, defection, customer profitability, and net promoter scores like Likelihood To Recommend.
    • More specifically, develop, manage and support marketing programs and campaigns for Audi, Loblaw, and Shaw.
  • Understand technical and complex customer engagement strategies (e.g. omni-channel, automated programs that utilize platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and translate those into the day-to-day output of the agency by effectively write creative briefs and long-form content briefs and supporting the development and presentation of the creative work.
  • Identify key targets for campaigns using historical performance and web analytic tools, media analytics, customer databases, social listening tools, search tools, syndicated data, research & survey tools, etc.
  • Work with the Analytics department to guide the development and execution of measurement/analysis plans on behalf of clients.
  • Design and implement research projects to address client business issues, gain insight into target audiences, and test program concepts
  • Be a highly engaged team member while contributing positively to the broader BIMM environment
  • Serve as a key member of the Planning team to help drive BIMM’s own strategy and priorities and deliver annual plan objectives

Group Account Director

OVERVIEW

As the Group Account Director on the business, you will be the main contact to senior clients on the brands assigned, proactively leading the business and providing strategic counsel.  This role also requires you to participate and partner with an internal integrated communications team resulting in all client work executed flawlessly.

OVERVIEW

         As the Account Supervisor on the business, you will lead and manage agency resources to ensure the delivery of high-quality service and advertising, so that all client needs are met on time and on budget.  This position also requires you to  assist in developing short- and long-term communication strategies for the client.

Print Production Coordinator

OVERVIEW

As the Production Coordinator you will assist on the projects assigned, managing the production process from inception to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend and participate in internal briefings and product group meetings
  • Learn the standards of direct marketing production
  • Assist with production projects from brief to mail drop
  • Manage small production jobs independently
  • Seek out the Director of Production for background information, clarification or additional assignments; communicating daily regarding all developments related to the project
  • Collaborate fully with Creative Team to develop innovative ideas that deliver to the brief
  • Build positive and effective working relations with Account Management, Creative Team and Studio
  • Continually research new technologies providing recommendations on innovative technology and cost cutting solutions
  • Assist with budget development
  • Assist Production team as requested
  • Assist with developing and planning critical paths and track production job flow
  • Under supervision, issue data instructions to lettershops and develop detailed specifications for printing and direct mail suppliers
  • Co-ordinate deliverables as required
  • Review internal and external work to ensure it meets quality requirements. Ensure all work is at acceptable quality standards
  • Advise senior staff of any potential issues

QUALIFICATIONS

We’re seeking an Intermediate Web Developer to provide support for ongoing projects with our digital clients. Working closely with a Technical Lead and our Project Managers, you will be responsible for developing responsive email and creating websites, from function to layout, while ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

The right individual for this role will be a motivated and energetic developer who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes extreme pride in their work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will leverage your strong development skills working with PHP/MySQL, HTML5, CSS, JS to:

  • Code sites from provided design concepts by using industry best practices
  • Perform routine daily maintenance of existing sites and applications
  • Assist in gathering requirements and project specifications
  • Communicate project status and deliverables to Project Managers and Technical Lead
  • Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities

OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a Studio Artist who can design and execute both Print and online communications. You are technically savvy and must be creative. You will contribute to the team, recommending solutions that leverage the latest creative trends and technological advancements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce and design layouts with minimum guidance for both Print and Online
  • Manage a fast pace with irregular hours
  • Prioritize work to accommodate deadlines in a high volume environment
  • Manage and maintain high level of responsiveness and flexibility to accommodate internal client requests and changing circumstances
  • Create Prepress-ready computer files for transmission to publications and/or clients
  • Prepare mock-ups

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of agency experience
  • 2 years of professional experience
  • Solid portfolio of recent commercial work
  • Degree or diploma in graphic design, or the equivalent experience
